I saw this recipe on Pinterest the other day and couldn’t wait to try it. Homemade Veggie Nuggets!
That looks neat, right? Vegetarian chicken nuggets! And the ingredient list really was simple: Carrots, parsnips, potato, broccoli – and then some oil, egg and breadcrumbs.
So, mine is a different color… I can work with that… but it was also a totally different texture… well, let’s try it anyway, so what if the cookie cutter didn’t work and I pulled out the melon baller… It could still work!
My life is moving really fast right now, but I wanted to stop and take a moment, and just share a breath with y’all! Happy Wednesday everyone 🙂
On another note, tomorrow is the Mr. Chisholm Trail pageant – and I’m quite excited for Mr. T! Hopefully I’ll have lots of pictures and videos to share with you! Wish us luck! Well, Mr T at least, wish him luck, all I have to do is show up!
For #MCM (Man Crush Monday) Mr. T’s girlfriend posted, “If we could all just take a minute to appreciate how wonderful this man is, that would be amazing. So proud of him in everything he does, from singing at church, to mascotting at school, to being involved in the school play.”
So, they aren’t my words, but she sums up my Wordless Wednesday perfectly!
Just over a month ago we discovered that Lee had left his mark on the concrete under the kitchen floor by writing “Lee was here”. It was a wonderful treat that still gives me goosebumps when I think about all of the things that had to fall into place for us to discover this!
Lee Was Here direct on the concrete
Unfortunately, the reason we discovered it was because mom and dad are replacing their flooring on the downstairs…so the search was on to try and figure out how to save this little piece of Lee. Mom and dad decided to have an exact duplicate of his signature sandblasted into a piece of tile. It turned out beautifully, I can’t wait until the tile is in place!
The sandblasted version next to the actual writing.
Mom and dad got both sizes of the tile sandblasted. The guys doing the install will place the tile as close to the actual signature as possible.
And for those who haven’t met my brother, you can read about him here.
driving sitting at a light in town the other day:
Does anyone else immediately think: Die Hard with a Vengeance?
Here’s a hint:
No? It’s just me?
Okay, I can live with that!
It’s October 1st! This is a wonderful day in my world! And now, let’s bring on Wordless Wednesday!
And, for those that don’t know – I don’t have cable anymore, we are a pure internet TV family, and I’ve just discovered something I will miss:
Okay, they are as good as you think they will be!
Ever regret not buying something? Every time I see this picture I regret not buying it! Maple Bacon Frosting.
Oh no! Something got me!
