Getting prepared for my new role as the President of SNAG!16 – Senior Night After Graduation, the Duck Rack and Carnival were the big money makers for the graduating class last year and they saved the ducks so we didn’t have to go buy more!
They are for a fundraiser, Duck Race / Carnival, that we’ll do for the Senior Night After Graduation party, I’m on the executive board of the parent committee and we are a new high school, and we just had our first graduating class, and this was their big money maker – and they saved them for us to re-use! 🙂
Just Ducky. Ha! When I was trucking I worked for a while managing a local transport company. Our owner was very civic minded an he volunteered our services for many community activities and fund raising endeavors. One that we did every year was the annual Rotary duck race. We hauled 10,000 numbered rubber ducks from storage to the canal where the race was held and then back again when it was over. The little beggars looked just like your yellow duck except they were rubber and numbered.
I’m glad to bring back happy memories! Those ducks are all numbered as the graduating class was kind enough to donate them to our class (my sons) so we could raise more money 🙂
Thanks Ann! That fell into the “I never expected” category! 🙂 Thank you for stopping by, I was just feeling empathy for you as I was reading your post!
did any escape?
LOL, not just yet – but I’m not going to lie, I buckled them in the car, because the last thing I wanted was ducks flying around my head!!

hahahahahaha! I’ll have to do one next time! Great idea Jeff!!
Quacking up?
You never know what you’ll say, more so I think with a teenager than a small child! 😀

Lol, I am always cracking myself up with silly things like that!
How fun!
I have a naughty version of the yellow rubber duckie in Vegas. Don’t judge me.
