Sometimes I get random texts from Mr. T.
It shows he loves me and thinks about me.
Sometimes they are witty, sometimes funny, sarcastic or serious.
Sometimes when I read them I don’t know if they are supposed to be witty, funny, sarcastic or serious.
Sometimes I end up in a formal shop waiting while my son gets fitted for a tuxedo because what I assume is a joke turns out to be real.
Yup, that just happened! I’ll keep you updated, the pageant is next week 🙂
I think that is awesome!!! And I love your reply to him 🙂
Thanks! It was one of those moments where I thought he was messing with me! 🙂
I look forward to hearing more about this!
Thanks! I look forward to living to tell more about it! 🙂
Good on Mr T!! That’s so wonderful Kate, I hope he wins xx😊😊😊😊
Thanks! I kinda really hope he wins, too! I’d love to be all zen and like “oh, it’s just great he’s participating”, but nope, I’m way too competitive!! 🙂
😊😊😊
Pageant? Beauty pageant? Is that what you mean? Little dense over here.
Yes sir! A beauty pagaent! He is up for Mr Chisholm Trail 🙂
What the heck is that?
You know, like Miss America, but for guys, and slightly smaller 🙂 Did your school never do this as a fundraiser?
I loved reading this on FB!!!
Lol, Yeah, my freak flag flies a little higher over there!
You all have the best stories! and LIFE!
Lol! Uh, thanks? 🙂 My to-do list is a page long and that was before i had to add in Mr. T’s latest adventure! But it is all good stuff so I’m not complaining one bit!
I receive texts all the time from my stepdaughter and I am like- are you serious? kidding? being sarcastic? having problems typing? Sometimes I just resort to calling her to decipher what is happening. Yeah for Mr. T! He is such an inspiration.
Yes! That’s it! Half the time I just answer back randomly! LOL
This makes me so happy! Your son lives his life to the fullest and I have a strong feeling that everything he does pushes himself, others, and the event to a new level of awesome! I am super pumped to see any pictures that are shared!
Thanks ortsofsorts! I will happily admit that it pleases me how many wonderful memories he’s making – that he is allowing himself to make – he teaches me a lot about just jumping in and going for it!
Too funny!! Good to hear he has fun for a good cause!
Yes! And I love that they asked Mr. T specifically to participate, I think that he’ll be great at bringing in extra money 🙂
Seems like he knows how to create a good show, which is always great for bringing in the money 🙂 You realise we expect to read more about this event later, don’t you? 🙂
I plan to document, a lot!! 🙂
Funny stuff! 🙂
Thanks 🙂 As I was talking about this to a friend, he goes “yeah, there is no danger of you becoming one of those moms if you’re this lost already!” LOL
Yes. You don’t want to be a stage mom. 😉 lol
Ok please tell me for the swim competition he is going to really cheese it up with a crazy duck floaty and white on his nose! LOL
That’s a good thought! I was thinking surf-board! LOL. I think I’ll swing by Party City to see what they have. After I hit Kohl’s for the red button down he needs, after I hit the work training session today, after I actually work. 😀
Haha, Ah we know he is gonna rock it ! Wishing him all the luck in the world 🙂
Thank you!! 🙂 I get to fit in time to go with him to buy some props.. especially for the swimsuit competition! LOL
Your exchanges with Mr. T never fail to make me laugh! Oooh, excited to read what happens next 😉
So far we’ve managed to make it to the tux fitting, and now it’s time to get him a shirt for the dance number and props for the swimsuit competition… thank goodness they provided somewhat of a check list!!
And I’ll document as much as I can! If I have to go through this, then so to the rest of you!!
It will be fun Kate! 🙂
Oh my gosh… I can’t wait to hear all about it…. GO MR. T!!!
Thank you!!!
Best of luck to him!
Thanks Nancy! 🙂
How funny! He is full of surprises, isn’t he? He’ll be the most handsome one there.
I think he will be, too! 🙂 We had a group offer to sponsor him, so why not?!? 🙂
My son’s school didn’t have it, but a rival school did. The Mr. Whatever School pageant. It was part of the senior class fundraiser 🙂
Lol, this is a fundraiser, too 🙂 And the kids are really having fun with it and what a great memory for Mr. T!
Who doesn’t love a a beauty pageant? Do they still call them that?
Lol, I don’t know, but my mom and I decided it sounded too funny, so in my real life, I’ve taken to just saying “pageant”.
On another note, yesterday I learned how to actually spell “pagaent” lol!!
