25 Songs in 25 Days – Day 24 – A song you have danced to with your best friend.
Surprise, Surprise – Meatloaf is up to bat again! But, one of my favorite memories is with my BFF and swaying along to this song.
The opening is different… just go with it! 🙂
On another note – isn’t the snap shot for this video just a bit scary?!?
You know who’s not scary? Click below!
I will say this blog has exposed me to more Meatloaf than I have experienced in years!
🙂 I’m kinda proud of that, not gonna lie!
That pic is a bit creepy. What was up with him there?
I know right?!? I think they could have found a better screen shot! LOL
I heard that song today and thought of you. SJ was not into the song and kept bugging me to change it.
Another awesome meatloaf song, I am going to miss this challange Kate, I look forward to seeing what songs you post every day, most of the time they are stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Xxx
Thank you for saying so! Towards the end I was starting to think that everyone was getting bored of it!
But, I’m going to miss it too! 😦 We still have one more day left, tho, so Woohoo!
🙂
That is not the most flattering photograph, for sure, ha ha.
LOL, not at all!!!
I have dropped the ball the past few days:( and from here on out whenever I hear a Meatloaf song I will think of you. It’s just the way it will be from now on!! The ranting reminds me of Jim Morrison a bit!! I like that beggining part;)
yeah, it’s one of those odd but too cool openings to a song! I just have so much fun with his songs! 🙂
Meatloaf…bat…I see what you did there 🙂
Thank you, thank you, I’ll be here all week tossing out obscure puns and wit no one can see! LOL.
Thanks, though, cause I wasn’t sure anyone would notice!!
Kate, you kill me with your all-Meatloaf-all-the-time musical repertoire! 🙂 Get to it…dance away, my friend!
Just be glad you aren’t my son! LOL. He does get tired of it sometimes, too!
Ok, that screen shot was pretty creepy. The song was cool though.
LOL, I know! It even freaked me out!
seeing these postings, reminds me of how music can so define places and times for us. Music can truly be our connection to so many memories. ( Have you posted recently about Mr T at all and perhaps I have missed it? I am dying to know how the mascot thing is working 🙂 )
I have not updated on Mr. T lately – we are still in the buying supplies phase… and boy do I have a lot to say about that! LOL. It’s been so busy that I did the song challenge just to give me a break from blogging, but after this weekend things should get back to normal and I’ll update. Thanks so much for asking! That really warmed my heart!
This sounds so self-centered, but as my stepson continues to struggle in school and we witness his mother supporting his poor behaviors, I needed hope that each child does find his or her way. Mr T for some reason tends to symbolize that for me.
You know, I’m just self-centered enough to be okay with that! 🙂
