Box of Hats

What a weekend!  Let me add a disclaimer to start the post: I don’t have anyone’s permission to share this but am doing so anyway!  This goes for all of the pictures I’m going to include!

I’m working on learning how to make bread.  And I’m super glad that I never sold or donated this electric knife!

We had Easter early this weekend.  Mom bought tie dye egg coloring kit.  Oh yeah – it was awesome!  No, I didn’t get any pictures of the eggs we created, and no, we didn’t actually hunt any of the eggs.  I’m not sure why we colored them, but I know we did have fun!

We did go to a local Farmers Market.  Bella thought grilled cheese was just the most awesome food ever!

This is Bella’s brother Joshua.  He’s just too cute not to include!

This is my new car.  It’s pretty awesome.

I also painted the work bench in my garage!  I had a coupon for a free 8 oz sample jar of paint, so Mr. T and I hit Lowe’s and I told him to pick a color.  We got home and I had a blast cleaning off the top and painting!  Right now, the top is as clean as it’s ever been! LOL.  Give me time and I’ll have more projects stacked on top of it again!

Mr. T and I went to church Sunday, and stayed after because he and I are both performing in the Easter service.

I say performing – I’m not really. Mr. T and several other wonderful people are performing – I am a narrator. I am reading. I can read.

After our table read, we were looking through the closet of clothes to see what costumes everyone would wear. And, well, we found a box of hats.

Pretty much I was loving my crown and made sure to get my crown in the picture and failed to actually get my face in there!

I hope that the rest of you had a wonderful weekend – and here is to a great week ahead!

Niiiiiiiice new ride!!!! Congrats on making bread, electrical knifes, coloring Easter egg that we really have no proof of going down, painting work benches and church performances. Whew, I am just tired writing all that down. 🙂

      • oh, must be good for carving a turkey! See, the things you don’t think about when it is not in front of you… Now I have one more thing I need to try out 🙂 Lucky you with your knife!

  2. Looks like you definitely had a busy weekend with loads of fun, fun, fun! Wish I could find a tie dye egg colouring kit here too:) Oh and I love your new car! 😉

    • Thanks! I did have to laugh, the choir director, which was the guy with the mustache in the hat picture, when we were done he goes “You know, I think that was my first selfie!” I about died! For about 2 seconds I wondered if I take too many pictures and selfies… and then the moment passed and I had to write a post with all of my weekend pictures!

Cool hats. My wife got a bread machine sev. yrs. ago — and for a few months afterwards, our house was filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread. She tried numerous mixes, with diff. flavors, but my fav. were just ordinary bread. Warm and soaked with butter. Yum.

Narration is an important part of the performance, so you are definitely performing!

Pretty car, what kind is that?

Funny, we never hunted the eggs that we dyed when I was a kid. Probably too worried about not finding them all and them rotting LOL. Looks like an awesome weekend!

    • We usually do hunt… Well, I have 15 yr old Mr. T and my sister has 14 year old twins… and then she has Joshua and Bella (pictured) so we hunt with the little ones now! I think we just got too busy and forgot! LOL.

The car is a 2008 Lexus RX 300 or something. I have driven a little 1999 Nissan Altima for years and years just to save it for Mr. T later this year and because I knew I’d be getting the SUV.
